On the 15th of August 2019, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) announced the publication of International Principles and Guidelines on access to justice for people with disabilities, a set of good practices that allow ensuring adequate access to justice for people with disabilities.
This publication is the result of several collaborations with specialists in the area of the rights of people with disabilities, organizations, countries, authors, among others and its main objective is to support the Nations in creating and implementing measures that provide equal access to justice for people with disabilities, under international human rights standards.
