Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference: Call for papers until March 21st

The call for papers is now open for the session on "The making and remaking of disability in the urban everyday" happening during the Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference, that will take place from August 30th to September 2nd 2022, in Newcastle University, in England.

The submissions should focus on the following topics:

  • Accessible urban housing, transport, and other infrastructures
  • Urban mobilities of disabled people
  • Disability and sensorial experiences
  • Disability and COVID-19 in the city
  • Disability and wellbeing in the urban environment
  • Intersections of disability and animality
  • Disability, care and caring practices in the urban everyday
  • Disability and (in-)(intra-)(inter-)dependencies in the urban everyday
  • Bodily standards and the making of 'normality' in the city
  • Disability and methodological innovation in urban research

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ), until monday, March 21st, with a maximum of 250 words. The submission should indicate the preference to attend in person or remotely.
