On 10 December, the Public Presentation Session of the Report Persons with Disabilities in Portugal: Human Rights Indicators 2025, published annually by the Observatory on Disability and Human Rights of ISCSP, University of Lisbon, took place in the Lisbon Room at ISCSP and online.
The event also included an intervention by Vera Bonvalot, Member of the Board of the European Disability Forum and President of Me-CDPD, who outlined the agenda developed by these bodies in the European and national contexts.
The Opening Session was chaired by Clara Marques Mendes, Secretary of State for Social Action and Inclusion, and was attended by the President of ISCSP, Ricardo Ramos Pinto. The Closing Session included the participation of the President of the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., Sónia Esperto, and the Vice-President for Research of ISCSP, Romana Xerez.
As usual, this was a very well-attended event, with more than 150 participants (in person and online), and wide coverage in the main media outlets (press, radio and television).
