The Disability and Human Rights Observatory (ODDH), in partnership with its Advisory Board, prepared the 'Alternative Report on the 10th Periodic Report submitted by Portugal under Article 18 of the Convention for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women' which was submitted in May 2022 to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.
This 'Alternative Report', signed and subscribed by 13 entities that represent approximately 186 DPOs, and by 7 researchers working in the areas of disability and human rights, represents a response to the European Disability Forum's call for the participation of civil society in the monitoring process of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
The 'Alternative Report' submitted by the ODDH and all documents submitted by Portugal in the monitoring process are available on the United Nations website.
