A significant time passed since the implementation of the new model of inclusive education, where CRI played an essential role, thus it is important to make an assessment of the action of CRI in this context.

The main aim at this study was carrying out an external assessment which would allow:

• Assess the impact of service delivery of CRI in supporting the inclusion of students with special educational needs;

• Identify facilitating factors/ barriers to the functioning of the CRI;

• Assess the adequacy of physical, human and financial resources assigned;
