OPEN FOR REGISTRATION UNTIL 25 OCTOBER | Advanced training on “Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities at Work”

The registration for the training on “Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities at Work” at ISCSP is now open. The training will take place from 11 November to 20 December in the evenings, from 18h to 21h.
This training will help participants develop skills that encourage and facilitate the inclusion and retainment of workers with disabilities in public and private entities, NGOs, and promote the employability of persons with disabilities.

The specific objectives of the course are:

  • Promote an understanding of disability based on a social and human rights model and its importance for public policies on employment;
  • Contextualise the situation of labour and employment of persons with disabilities in Portugal and provide relevant information on the available support measures in the national context to promote their professional integration;
  • Capacitate persons with disabilities for future employment, providing information on the competencies and benefits of their professional inclusion, practical tools and talent management strategies for professionals with disabilities.
Scientific coordination: Dr. Paula Campos Pinto, Associated Professor at ISCSP and coordinator of the Disability and Human Rights Observatory.

Target: Professionals from the public and private sector, NGOs, including top managers, intermediate post holders and human resource staff directly involved in selecting candidates and managing career development.

Application period:30 September to 25 October 2019. ISCSP-ULisboa reserves the right to close the candidates’ list earlier if the maximum number of participants is reached.
