ODDH presented its report Persons with Disabilities in Portugal – Human Rights Indicators 2017” in Sintra and Lousada

sintra1On April 13, ODDH presented its report “Persons with Disabilities in Portugal – Human Rights Indicators 2017” in Sintra, in the context of the initiative "Meaningful Conversations " promoted by C.E.C.D. Mira Sintra - Education Centre for Citizens with Disabilities.

The presentation was made by the authors of the report, Professor Paula Campos Pinto, and Teresa Janela Pinto, the coordinator and research assistant of the Observatory, respectively. This event was aimed at the employees of C.E.C.D. Mira Sintra, its clients with disabilities and their families. For more information click here.

In turn, on 21 April, at the invitation of the Lousada School Group, Professor Paula Campos Pinto presented, in Lousada, the report “Persons with Disabilities in Portugal – Human Rights Indicators 2017”. This report was developed by the Disability and Human Rights Observatory - hosted by ISCSP - and was presented publicly on December 13, 2017 during the II ODDH Meeting – Disability, Citizenship and Social Innovation, in Lisbon. This initiative, which consisted of an awareness raising action on inclusive education - aimed at parents, businesses, schools and people with disabilities - was organized by the school's therapeutic team.
